Grace in God's Sight

August 27, 2015

Dear Pastors:

Today, let us touch upon [1] THE DIVINE FAVOR THE JEWS HAVE IN THE EYES OF GOD ALMIGHTY BY HIS GRACE ALONE, [2] HAMAS COMMANDO TUNNEL, [3],   Israeli air strike targets Hamas in response to rocket attack, and then [4]  Putin again Touts Gazprom for Running Israel’s Offshore Gas Exports!

Exodus 33:12 And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, [First,] and thou hast also found grace in my sight.

[From Scriptures Brethren, it is plain to ole jav that the Children of Israel found Divine Favor of which “the child Samuel” is a worthy illustration for us!  1Sa 2:26 And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.]  [Grace is THE UNMERITED FAVOR OF GOD ALMIGHTY.  WE CAN DO NOTHING TO MERIT HIS GRACE.]

13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found [Second,] grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find [Third,] grace in thy sight: and [#1,] consider that this nation is thy people.
They were a Peculiar Treasure –

Ex 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

They were chosen by Jehovah –

Deut 14:2:For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

They were Exhalted above all nations –

Deut 26:19; And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.

Zec 2:8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

The Children of Israel are the APPLE OF GOD’S OWN DEAR EYE!!!
Exod 33: 14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
15 And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
16 For wherein shall it be known here that I [#2,]  and thy people have found [Fourth,] grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, [#3,] I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
17 And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found [Fifth,]grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.
18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will [Sixth,]  be gracious to whom I will [Seventh,] be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

WATCH: Hamas reveals 'commando tunnel unit' in new propaganda clip

The video, which was released prior to the latest rocket fire at Israel and the subsequent IDF reprisals, shows Hamas terrorists simulating their activities as if they were fighting Israeli soldiers.

Hamas on Wednesday posted a video on Islamist propaganda web sites showing what it claims to be exclusive footage of the organization's units responsible for the construction of underground tunnels in Gaza.

The video, which was released prior to the
latest rocket fire at Israel and the subsequent IDF reprisals, shows Hamas terrorists simulating their activities as if they were fighting Israeli soldiers.

The clip depicts Hamas gunmen doing battle against Israeli positions, tanks, homes, and even civilians. It also shows a simulation of Hamas rocket fire on Israel as well as the takeover of an IDF post and the killing from short range of an IDF soldier.

The video appears to be sophisticated in its production and editing while revealing a number of interesting insights into the method of operation employed by the special Hamas units.

The Hamas operatives are shown digging tunnels, evacuating wounded fighters, engaging in camouflaged stakeouts, and staging commando operations.

Israeli air strike targets Hamas in response to rocket attack

JERUSALEM Israel launched an air strike against a Hamas facility on Thursday in response to a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army said.
No one was hurt in the night-time rocket attack on southern Israel, the army said in a statement. There were no immediate reports of any casualties in the Palestinian enclave after warplanes struck what the Israeli military said was a weapons factory belonging to the ruling Hamas Islamist movement.
Salafi jihadist groups that support al Qaeda's calls for a global holy war have claimed most of the sporadic rocket strikes on Israel from the Gaza Strip since the end of a 50-day war a year ago.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Thursday's rocket, which exploded in an open area adjacent to the Gaza border, but Israel has said it holds Hamas accountable for any attacks from the enclave of 1.8 million Palestinians.
According to the Israeli Foreign Ministry website, 11 rockets from the Gaza Strip, excluding the one launched on Thursday, have struck Israel since the Egyptian-brokered ceasefire that halted the Gaza war.
Three weeks ago, after a rocket hit southern Israel, Israeli planes bombed a Hamas training camp, wounding four security men. A small Salafi group said it had launched it.

Putin again Touts Gazprom for Running Israel’s Offshore Gas Exports!

President Vladimir Putin has put a fresh offer to Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for a stake in the development of new Israeli gas fields in the Mediterranean and a contract for its national Gazprom to lay the future gas export pipeline to Turkey.
From there, he wants Israeli natural gas to flow through Russian pipelines to Europe.

Putin in a word is pitching for Russian control of Israel’s gas exports. His selling point is linked directly to another Russian strategic step:
Moscow is about to embark on military intervention in the Syrian war.

The estimated investment for fully developing Israel’s Leviathan, one of the biggest offshore gas discoveries in recent years, is $7-10 billion. A pipeline from Israel to Turkey would come to another roughly $2bn.
It is not the first time that the Russian leader as propositioned Israel on its gas bonanza. In 2012, secret meetings took place between Russian and Israeli gas experts and investors, mostly in London.
Those tentative exchanges were shelved in mid-2014, mainly because the US was furiously opposed to Israel contracting business with Moscow shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine and was penalized with US and European sanctions.

Then, too, relations between the Russian leader and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Edrogan were at a low point.

First “Russo-Syrian Military Commission” is born!

But this year, from late July and early August, Putin took a fresh look at the fluctuating Middle East map and decided to reassess his strategy. He found the Turkish operation against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) to be useless, and the arrangement for US air strikes over Syria to be coordinated with Turkish ground action getting nowhere. Indeed, in his view, these faltering steps had allowed ISIS to evolve into a palpable threat to Russia itself.

The signs of Moscow’s intention to take a hand in fighting ISIS in Syria include the creation in recent weeks of the first “Russo-Syrian Military Commission,” designed to supervise Russian forces destined in Syria to put up an effective fight against ISIS – and not just to rescue Bashar Assad from his military straits.

There is also informed speculation that the six Russian MiG-31 Foxhound interceptor aircraft from Moscow which landed Tuesday, Aug. 18, at the Mezze Airbase of Damascus international airport, are to be part of the new deployment.

Russian military in Syria - on the spot for securing the gas fields!

How does all this tie in with Moscow’s quest for a partnership in Israel’s gas?

Putin maintains that the forthcoming Russian military presence in Syria, including air and naval units, would offer the only credible shield for protecting Israel’s offshore gas fields.

Leviathan has estimated reserves of 22 trillion cubic feet (tcf) or 622 billion cubic meters. The Russians estimate the reserves as quadruple this amount.

As far back as March 2013, when the Russian leader talked to Netanyahu in Israel – and again when they met in Sochi three months later - he pushed the argument that Russian forces alone were competent to secure the gas fields against attack by any of the groups taking part in the Syria conflict, because of their heft in Damascus, which also worked as a deterrent against the Lebanese Hizballah sabotaging the gas fields.

Putin now proposes setting up a joint Russian-Israeli task force. This would be the first instance of Russian-Israeli military cooperation.
This initiative is the counterpart of another Moscow project: a joint Russian-Egyptian task force for securing the Suez Canal and its shipping lanes, which Putin put before Egyptian President Abdel-Fatteh El-Sisiduring his visit to Moscow Tuesday, Aug. 25.

Progress in talk with Turkey as anchor client and pipeline partner!

Moscow is aware of the negotiations the Israeli government and the Noble Energy-Delek gas consortium are holding with Turkey on the selfsame issue of an underwater pipeline to carry Leviathan gas under water to the Turkish coast. The field is slated to begin production in 2018 or 2019.

The talks with Turkey are at an advanced stage.
The Erdogan government is willing to cover a large part of the investment. Turkey's overall gas consumption is seven times that of Israel and growing fast, expected to double in the next 20 years. At the moment, Ankara is heavily reliant for its gas on Russia, from whom it purchases 40 billion BCM a year. The Turks are keen to reduce their dependence on Moscow by using Israel as a competitive source.
Gas is also piped in to Turkey from Iran and Azerbaijan as well as high-priced liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Algeria. Ankara has stepped up its purchases from those sources to cut down on gas imports from Gazprom.

The Turkish-Israeli talks are now down to discussing the price per MMBTu (British thermal units in millions) to be charged by Israel.
While markets for Israel’s Mediterranean gas are eagerly awaited in Egypt and Jordan, Turkey is seen as an anchor customer for Leviathan’s product.

Israeli consortium divided over Turkish connection!

The Israeli partners of the consortium are keen on going ahead for a deal with Turkey, but the American side, Texas-based Noble Energy, is leery, raising the fear in private parleys that Turkey faces the danger of a radical Islamist revolution, whose leaders might without warning cut off the inflow of Leviathan gas to its premier outlet.

Netanyahu has been enthusiastic about the deal with Ankara, also because it holds out the prospect of better relations with Turkey, on which he places high strategic value. He has picked up hints from the Erdogan regime that this improvement is indeed in prospect.

But Netanyahu is now faced with a new proposition from Moscow. He must take into account that Israel’s acceptance of that proposition would leave Russia in continued domination of Turkey’s sources of gas and its export pipeline to Europe and determine how that suits Israel’s interests.
All this Brethren gives us cause to keep our EYES ON ISRAEL and everything that is going on over THERE IN RELATION TO THE JEWS.  THEY ARE GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE.  GOD MADE AN EVERLASTING COVENANT WITH THEM – EZEKIEL 16:60.  THAT COVENANT IS STILL IN EFFECT ON THIS 27TH DAY OF AUGUST 2015!  WE GENTILE CHRISTIANS ARE DEEPLY INDEBTED TO THE JEWS.  WE SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER OUR DEBTS TO THEM.
PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM!

Please pray for Dr. Bill Pickell's, Pacolet, SC, Granddaughter, Hope.  She does have cancer.

The Battles We Face

August 26, 2015

Dear Preachers:

Today I write regarding Louisana, Charlie Clifford (an Insurance Company mentor of mine, whose daddy died when Charlie was 7), Don Holleder,  The Battle of Ong Thanh, and 1st. Lt. Clark Welch – whom I think to be the real hero of this long ago Battle the Big Red One fought.

On a day, a couple of days ago,  in History, French Settlers showed up in Louisiana (French: La Louisiane; by 1879, La Louisiane française) or French Louisiana was an administrative district of New France.

Having gone to Sulphur, La., recently for Josh Wesson’s funeral, I found this subject interesting.

Under French control 1682–1762 and 1802–04, the area was named in honor of King Louis XIV, by French explorer René-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de la Salle. It originally covered an expansive territory that included most of the drainage basin of the Mississippi River, and stretched from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico and from the Appalachian Mountains to the Rocky Mountains.
Louisiana was divided into two regions, known as Upper Louisiana (French: Haute-Louisiane), which began north of the Arkansas River, and Lower Louisiana (French: Basse-Louisiane). The U.S. state of Louisiana is named for the historical region, although it occupies only a small portion of the vast lands claimed by the French. Although French exploration of the area began during the reign of Louis XIV, French Louisiana was not greatly developed, due to a lack of human and financial resources. As a result of its defeat in the Seven Years' War, France was forced to cede the eastern part of the territory in 1763 to the victorious British, and the western part to Spain as compensation for that country's loss of Florida. France regained sovereignty of the western territory in the secret Treaty of San Ildefonso of 1800. But strained by obligations in Europe, Napoleon Bonaparte decided to sell the territory to the United States in the Louisiana Purchase of 1803, ending France's presence in Louisiana.
With Josh Wesson’s children losing their Daddy, I was reminded of one of my SUPERVISORS while I was in the Insurance Business, CHARLIE CLIFFORD.  My 75 year-old mind won’t get Charlie’s connection back to Louisiana, but he too had a connection with Louisiana.  Charlie’s Daddy died when Charlie was only 7.  The family lived in Indianapolis, Indiana, where the Bride of my youth has her origin.  Charlie was the oldest child.
He had to go to work as a SEVEN YEAR OLD to support the family.  He carried the morning and evening papers in Indianapolis, the STAR and NEWS.  As a 7 year old lad he was carrying over 400 morning papers.  He carried over 300 evening papers Monday to Saturday.
Charlie went to grade school in spite of his Dad dying..  Charlie finished High School.  All the time carrying papers.  Charlie completed College carrying papers.  He was working for the Insurance Company I went to work for to get into the Insurance Business as a Fieldman.  The Multi-Peril Insurance Polices had just come out --- Homeowners, Farmowners, The Special Multi-Peril for Businesses.  Charlie was a real blessing to me as I went through the training for all that.
The Lord called me to Preach as the Vietnam War was raging.  A battle took place back then called The Battle of Ong Thanh, where Major Don Holleder, former Football Star at West Point, was killed (my call – in what I consider) A FOOLISH MANUEVER. From Wikipedia, we learn something of this Battle.

Donald Walter Holleder (August 3, 1934 – October 17, 1967) was an American college football star while attending the United States Military Academy who was later killed in the Vietnam War.
Holleder was born in Buffalo, New York, and at age 13, he and his family moved to Irondequoit, New York.[1] He attended high school at the Aquinas Institute in nearby Rochester. He was heavily recruited by a number of top college football teams, including West Point's offensive coach Vince Lombardi. He elected to enroll at the United States Military Academy at West Point. As a junior in 1954, he was named to the All-America team as an end. The following season, Army head coach Colonel Red Blaik asked him to move to quarterback. Holleder clearly lacked the skills to be a productive passer, but Blaik felt that his leadership skills were important and would help the struggling team improve. Blaik's move was ridiculed but it paid off. The team finished with a record of 6-3-0, including a rousing upset of Navy that led to Holleder's appearance on the cover of Sports Illustrated. One of Holleder's classmates at West Point was General Norman Schwarzkopf. They both graduated in the Class of 1956.
The New York Giants selected Holleder in the 1956 NFL Draft college draft, however Holleder was not interested in a professional football career. After graduating West Point, he continued to serve in the U.S. Army. Over the next ten years he rose to the rank of Major, serving posts in Hawaii and Korea, and in between returning to West Point for three years as an assistant football coach, recruiter, and scout.
In 1967, Holleder, now a Major, requested to be sent to Vietnam, where he became the Operations Officer for 1st Brigade of the 1st Infantry Division. [My dead brother Arthur, served as a Sgt. E5 in the Big Red One!]
Major Holleder was killed in the Battle of Ong Thanh on Tuesday October 17, 1967. While he and his commanding officer were overflying the battle in a helicopter, where they observed the entire command unit on the ground had been killed and the remaining men were in serious trouble. Don volunteered to organize a rescue effort. Upon landing, Don secured three volunteers and rushed to the battle site. Running far in front of his volunteers, he was gunned down and killed by a sniper. The battle is documented in Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter David Maraniss’ book They Marched Into Sunlight and Terry Tibbetts' book A Spartan Game, the Life and Loss of Don Holleder. A film of the story is being produced by Tom Hanks.
Holleder left behind a wife and four daughters.
In 1974, the football stadium in his hometown was renamed Holleder Memorial Stadium in his honor. The stadium was home to the football team of his high school Alma Mater, Aquinas Institute. In 1985 the stadium was torn down where the Holleder Technology Park now stands on the site, bisected by Holleder Parkway.
In 1985, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, and that same year, West Point's basketball/hockey arena was named in his honor (The Donald W. Holleder Center). Each year, the Army football team recognizes one of their players with the Black Lion Award, [The Black Lions were the 1st Brigade of the Big Red One,] given "to a player who best exemplifies the character of Don Holleder, leadership, courage, devotion to duty, self sacrifice and, above all, an unselfish concern to put the team ahead of himself."
He was posthumously awarded the Distinguished Service Cross on April 27, 2012.[3]
Donald Walter Holleder is interred in Arlington National Cemetery.
Now, what is not revealed in the Wikipedia report is that 1st Lt. Clark Welch, a very knowledgeable COMBAT OFFICER was against Lt. Col. Terry Allen’s plan of walking up on the enemy.  Welch wanted to walk the Artillery up on where he knew the enemy was.  But, that didn’t fly with Lt. Col. Allen, nor with Brig. Gen. Coleman, the Division’s Deputy Commander. Clark Welch was long and sinewy, his frame always tiling forward slightly, ready to move, the first lieutenant from New Hampshire was a soldier’s soldier in the most elemental sense.  His boys called him BIG ROCK.
At the briefing held the day before the Battle of Ong Thanh, Lt. Colonel Terry Allen,  son of famous WWII General Terry Allen Sr., got caught up in his own ego, and said, “WE’VE GOT THEM WHERE WE WANT THEM.  TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE A GREAT DAY FOR THE BLACK LIONS.”
Welch looked at the map that Allen showed, thinking, in disbelief, “Man, it can’t be.  I have very good eyes and very good hearing and it can’t be.  I must be misunderstanding that.  That’s a @#&+ showing us going south.  (Welch’s boys had killed two enemy soldiers and brought their bodies in.)  We’re going to attack right into them?”  It made little sense to Welch.  They knew where the enemy troops were;   why not bomb them with B-52s and napalm, and then tiptoe in with a small force to see what effect they had had, then tiptoe out again and bomb them again.
Allen asked, “Any questions?”  “”Sir, I….” Welch said.  That was as far as he got. Allen stared him down, stating, “If you’re not ready to lead, we’ll get Alpha to lead.”  “Sir,” Welch said.  "We’ll talk about it later,” Allen responded.  Allen later called Welch in and Welch made his view plain, “Sir, we’re going to get our @#& kicked, Sir.  I was right there.  I believe that the base camp.  And, we’re going to sneak up on them?”
AFTERMATH:
At around 12:00 pm Triet had already ordered his troops to disengage from the battle without annihilating the remaining Americans caught in his ambush. His men were tired and hungry and he was behind schedule in his movement toward his next assignment. Moreover, he feared that American air power and artillery would begin to inflict heavy casualties on his unit.[23]
The battle at Ong Thanh was a costly affair for the soldiers of the 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment. During two hours of fighting the 2nd Battalion lost 64 men killed in action, including Lieutenant Colonel Terry Allen and every member of the Battalion Command Group, as well as 75 wounded and 2 missing.[2] For their efforts in the battle, 13 American soldiers were awarded the Silver Star, while Allen and Welch received the Distinguished Service Cross. Forward Observer Second Lieutenant Harold B. Durham, who was attached to the 2nd Battalion on the day from the 15th Field Artillery Regiment, was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions.[2] Despite the losses that had been inflicted on the 2nd Battalion by the Viet Cong, the U.S. military told the media that the fight at Ong Thanh had resulted in a major American victory.[24]
General Hay initially portrayed Ong Thanh as an American victory and cited 101 enemy dead in the battle. However, American veterans who survived the ordeals of the battle were adamant they were ambushed and defeated by the Viet Cong's 271st Regiment. The estimate of 101 enemy dead officially provided by the U.S. military was likely much inflated to emphasize the scale of the 'American victory.'
For retired U.S. Army Brigadier General James E. Shelton, who was then a major and served as an Operations Officer with the 2nd Battalion, the lack of reliable intelligence and overconfidence on the part of Allen as the battalion commander, were some of the factors that led to the disastrous outcome in the Ong Thanh battle.
Furthermore, the American soldiers under Allen's command lacked fighting experience, whereas the Viet Cong soldiers of the 9th Division were among some of the best light infantry in the world with years of experience. The Viet Cong 271st Regiment, after their victory at Ong Thanh, withdrew back towards their base area near the Cambodian border.[26]

HOPEFULLY PREACHERS, FOR SOME OF THE BATTLES YOU AND YOUR PEOPLE FACE ON THIS WEDNESDAY IN AUGUST OF 2015, THERE ARE SOME LESSONS IN THE ABOVE THAT WILL HELP YOU AND THEM.
PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM!!!!!

Kicking the Can Down the Road

August 25, 2015

Dear  Preachers:

THE IBD SAYS THAT The Iranian Ayatollah said recently,  "Every human being has to wage jihad. Allah is my witness that if I were not old and sick, I would be the first person to make jihad against Israel."
Somehow Brethren, it  is even more apparent we need to stop this bad deal BHO-Kerry and company commited the USA to.

You know this is a bad deal. It doesn't stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Even if they abide by the deal, which is highly unlikely,
we are merely kicking the can down the road and allowing them to develop nuclear weapons in 10-15 years
, with the blessing of the world community. We must stop this bad deal.

The loss of anytime, anywhere inspections have crumbled the ability for the United States to enforce the deal. Iran will be notified 24-days before inspection of the inspection location and of the classified way we gathered intelligence of where to inspect.  In the words of Prime Minister Netanyahu, "can you imagine giving a drug dealer 24 days’ notice before you inspect the premises?”  We must stop this bad deal.

Our very own State Department labels Iran as one of only three state-sponsors of terrorism. Their network of evil stretches far beyond the Middle East where they train, fund, and equip terrorist.  An independent commission declared that Iran harbored and provided safe passage to the heinous terrorists that carried out the attacks on September 11th, 2001.  What then will happen when we allow them to develop nuclear weapons and give them billions of dollars of sanction relief? We must stop this bad deal.

We must put pressure on Congress to reject this deal and prevent our children from inheriting a dangerous nuclearly-armed regime.

We have four Senators that are undecided, but leaning towards supporting the deal. We must not let this happen.  If you live in the states where   Senators  Ben Cardin, Md, Cory Booker, NJ, Michael {No Child Left Behind,] Bennett, Colo., and Joe Manchin, W. Va.,  are, then please listen to ole jav’s admonition and put all the pressure you can on them to not allow the IRAN DEAL to stand as this bad deal, BHO-Kerry and company, commited us to.
PLEASE USE The Iranian Ayatollah’ quote,
"Every human being has to wage jihad. Allah is my witness that if I were not old and sick, I would be the first person to make jihad against Israel."    Write a nice letter.  Make nice Phone Calls.   But, somehow, make your presence known, Pastors.

For lawmakers not convinced that the ‍Iran deal is a rotten deal (in large part because it guarantees that ‍Iran will develop an industrial-size nuclear weapons program and assistance in upgrading its aggressive action in the region), the revelation of the side letter concerning the Parchin military site might do it.

U.S. News explains: “According to a draft document viewed by AP, ‍Iran has agreed to cooperate with the U.N. in answering longstanding allegations about possible past work to develop nuclear weapons at its Parchin plant — but only with the Iranians conducting the inspections themselves.
“‍Iran would collect its own environmental samples on the site and carry out other work usually done by IAEA experts. The IAEA will be able to review the Iranians’ work after the fact. The deal on Parchin was between the IAEA and ‍Iran. The Obama Administration was not a direct party to the agreement, but apparently was aware of it. . . .
“Any IAEA inspection of a country suspected of nuclear irregularities is usually carried out by agency experts. They may take swipes of residue on equipment, sample the air or take soil samples in attempts to look for signs of clandestine work on atomic arms or other potentially dangerous unreported activity.
“The document on Parchin, however, will let the Iranians themselves look for signs of the very activity they deny — past work on nuclear weapons. It says ‘‍Iran will provide’ the agency with environmental samples. It restricts the number of samples at the suspect site to seven and to an unspecified number ‘outside of the Parchin complex’ at a site that still needs to be decided.”
This takes “trust us” to a whole new level and severely undermines the administration’s claim that the deal has a super-duper inspection scheme. In fact, as the report notes, “Olli Heinonen, in charge of the ‍Iran investigation as IAEA deputy director general from 2005 through 2010, says he can think of no similar arrangement — a country essentially allowed to carry out much of the probe of suspicions against it.”
Mark Dubowitz, a widely respected sanctions guru, states, “A major part of the story that hasn’t been reported is what kind of precedent this establishes for access to future military sites.”
He continues: “Is this technical arrangement a one-off as it relates to Parchin or will this be the new normal for all other military sites? The former is concerning enough. The latter would be truly alarming. And, Brethren, we cannot sit still and let this bad deal be validated by the US Senate.  Since ‍Iran repeatedly has claimed that the IAEA isn’t getting ‘access’ to military sites, is this technical arrangement how a compromise with ‍Iran was reached?”

In short, he concludes, “If that’s the case, no weapons inspectors will ever see the inside of an Iranian military base.”
So why is this so crucial? With respect to this deal, it obviously provides‍ Iran with a road map to cheating. It is one more signal to ‍Iran —along with our refusal to blow the whistle on noncompliance during the interim deal — that it will be given wide berth to keep its program alive. In essence it is a flashing red light screaming: We are not serious about this.
“If this were not so dangerous and tragic, it would be worthy of an Onion parody,” says an official at a pro-Israel organization. “Letting the Iranians participate in their own inspections renders the verification regime about ‍Iran‍’‍s past nuclear work meaningless.

“Moreover, it sets a very dangerous precedent for inspection of future suspect military sites.” The official argues, “This new stunning revelation is why all those on record as supporting the deal should reconsider, and all those undecided should oppose it.”
But even worse if this deal goes through, every other arms arrangement and inspection regime would be undercut. Every regime will want to inspect itself. I mean, if ‍Iran gets to, why not other countries?
The Non-Proliferation Treaty already was getting thrown under the bus (because we allow a bad actor to keep enriching), but the deal may fatally wound all other inspection arrangements. The source at the pro-Israel organization wisecracks:
“Because of this unique arrangement in inspections we have a new technical term of art: Iranian selfies.”
President Obama’s deal is not only a bad deal and worse than no deal. It is also destructive of all current and future attempts to control and prevent WMDs. In that regard it is not merely ineffective, but hugely dangerous as well.

The president is asking serious Democrats to make themselves look like fools by going along with this farce. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., laid out the outlines of a better deal, one that Congress should implore the administration to seek. He can add one more item: Don’t allow a regime that has cheated for decades and concealed its weapons program to inspect its own program.

Seeing Iran as a threat then provokes us to look at The threat behind the New Korean Hostilities: A Sense Of American Weakness
North Korea’s nuclear-armed dictator Kim Jong-un announced his forces are in a “quasi-state of war” as they fire artillery into South Korea. Behind it are doubts of U.S. resolve.

Just months before Communist North Korean troops invaded South Korea in the summer of 1950, beginning the Korean War in which over tens of thousands of Americans gave their lives, Secretary of State Dean Acheson let it be known that the Koreas were outside America’s “defense perimeter.”

No one in the Obama administration may have made a statement projecting such provocative weakness directly in Pyongyang’s direction. But actions speak louder than words, and with our withdrawals from Iraq and Afghanistan, and our appeasement of‍Iran, President Obama is letting it be known that the world’s lone superpower doesn’t do ground wars anymore.

“When I ran for president eight years ago as a candidate who had opposed the decision to go to war in Iraq, I said that America didn’t just have to end that war,” Obama said at his recent American University speech defending the ‍Iran nuclear deal. “We had to end the mindset that got us there in the first place.”

According to Obama, “it was a mindset characterized by a preference for military action over diplomacy.” And one of his favorite talking points is that the U.S. must avoid “getting dragged into another ground war.”
That is clearly music to the ears of his Democrat Party base. But to America’s enemies around the world, it’s the sound of U.S. weakness — and the opportunity for aggression.
We may have about 29,000 U.S. troops stationed in South Korea right now, but about a decade ago we had more than 40,000; in Ronald Reagan’s second term we had 45,000. But what difference do numbers make if we are unwilling to use them if and when the enemy launches a war?
The exchanges between oppressive North Korea and free South Korea are the most ominous hostilities between the two powers in many years. It could dissipate as past exchanges have.
Then again, supreme leader Kim Jong Un and his military advisors may well have determined that the second half of the second term of a president “elected to end wars” is the perfect time to strike.
After all, if Obama is so adamant that “another prolonged ground war in the Middle East” is “not in our national security interest,” what would ever convince him that a major ground war in the Korean Peninsula would be?

Another sign of U.S. weakness that can’t have gone unnoticed by Kim and his henchmen is found elsewhere in Asia. Politico reported last month of friction between the White House and the Pentagon regarding artificial islands in the South China Sea upon which China claims as territory:

“Military officials and congressional hawks want the U.S. to make a major demonstration by sending warships within 12 miles of the artificial islands and make clear to China that the U.S. rejects its territorial claims.”
By not doing so, they charge, the administration “is tacitly accepting China’s destabilizing moves, which are seen by U.S. allies in the region such as Japan, the Philippines and Vietnam as highly threatening.”

The giant platforms could be mobile, and U.S. Pacific Command chief Adm. Harry Harris last month warned they could be used as bases for Chinese bombers, fighters, ships and surveillance.
Whether it’s North Korea invading the south, or China invading free Taiwan, our downsized military which can no longer fight two major wars simultaneously, is led by a commander-in-chief who repeatedly makes it clear that he won’t commit troops to a mission to repel aggression.

Iran, Korea, China, are all ---Brethren, causing us to be really praying for our country with BHO, Kerry, and their Minions  doing to our great nation what they are doing, and it’s standing in the world, oh my soul, how we need to be praying.
Those fellas on the “Train in Europe,” and their action in taking down the “guy with the guns” is the kind of “action” our countrymen need motivation to.
Now, I am sure some of you may say, “Don’t listen to ole jav, he will get you killed.”  But, in doing so, he may keep someone else from dying, as the Train heroes did.
As a young ‘sojer-boy’ I learned you have to put your life on the line.  Those heroes on the train did that.

AND, AS WE PRAY FOR OUR NATION, LET US REMEMBER TO PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM!!!
